Go to Google and punch in the phone number you are curious about into the search box in the following format: “555-555-5555″. Hit the search button and see what comes up.

Google will find the phone number if it has ever been published online before. People will publish their phone number online for a variety of reasons - they might be filling out a profile page or posting a classified ad. If the number has made it’s way on the internet, you may very well be able to find the information you are looking for.
