Do you want to take a tour of Mississippi that includes the scary things to do there such as the “Candlelight Ghost Tour” during Halloween week in Vicksburg or the Ghosts and Legends tour in Columbus? If ghosts aren’t your thing how about going to Noxubee and seeing the restored 1907 jail with it’s operative gallows? If you want beauty rather than ghosts and scary things then maybe you should visit the Magnolia mansion which was built in 1850 with the antebellum architecture features showcasing the exquisite mahogany staircase and the stunning furnishings of the time. You can visit the mansion in Aberdeen.

Located in Death Valley is a castle that was built as a vacation retreat for Albert Mussey Johnson and his wife. Stories told how the castle was built with money earned from a gold mine that he had invested in in the 20’s. Actually, there was no gold mine and his investment was in a dream but out of it he did build his vacation retreat.

It will be nearly as much fun as taking the actual vacation in Hawaii to review all the things there are to do on the islands. There are more than just the Big Island of Hawaii; there are also Kauai, Oahu, Molokai, Lahai and Maui. Each offers their own special attractions for your pleasure.

For those that were born in the era of the Baby Boom generation or before in the Silent Generation the opportunity to take a trip back in time by taking a vacation along route 66 is a moment of nostalgia that you just enjoy more than nearly any other road trip you have taken in years. Part of the route goes through the panhandle of Texas where you will find the people friendly and the countryside inviting.
